اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا اَبا عَبْدِاللهِ، اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ رَسُولِ اللهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ اَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَابْنَ سَيِّدِ الْوَصِيِّينَ، اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بْنَ فَاطِمَةَ سَيِّدَةِ نِسَاءِ الْعَالَمِينَ، اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ثَارَ اللهِ وَابْنَ ثَارِهِ وَالْوِتْرَ الْمَوْتُورَ، اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَى اْلاَرْوَاحِ الَّتِي حَلَّتْ بِفِنَائِكَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِنِّي جَمِيعًا سَلاَمُ اللهِ اَبَداً مَا بَقيتُ وَبَقِىَ اللَّيْلُ وَالنَّهَارُ

Assalâmu ‘alayka yâ Abâ ‘Abdillâh
Assalâmu ‘alayka yabna Rasûlillâh
Assalâmu ‘alayka yabna amîril mu’minîn
Assalâmu ‘alayka yabna Fâthimah Sayyidati niâil ‘âlamîn
Assalâmu ‘alayka yâ Tsârallâh wabna tsârih wal-witral mawtûr
Assalâmu ‘alayka wa ‘alal arwâhil latî hallat bifinâik, ‘alaykum minnî jamî’an salâmullâhi Abadan mâ baqîtu wa baqiyal laylu wan-nahâr.

Peace be upon you, O Aba Abdillah
Peace be upon you, O son of the Messenger of Allah
Peace be upon you, O son of Amirul Mukminin, son of the Master of the successors.
Peace be upon you, O son of Fatimah, mistress of the women of the worlds.
Peace be upon you, O Tsarallah wabna Tsarih wal-Mitral Mawtur.
Peace be upon you and upon all the souls that gathered in the court of your dwelling.
All my life, day and night, I will pray for you all, that Allah may pour out His peace upon you all.

يَا اَبا عَبْدِاللهِ لَقَدْ عَظُمَتِ الرَّزِيَّةُ وَجَلَّتْ وَعَظُمَتِ الْمُصِيبَةُ بِكَ عَلَيْنا وَعَلَى جَمِيعِ اَهْلِ اْلاِسْلامِ وَجَلَّتْ وَعَظُمَتْ مُصِيبَتُكَ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ عَلَى جَمِيعِ اَهْلِ السَّمَاوَاتِ، فَلَعَنَ اللهُ اُمَّةً اَسَّسَتْ اَسَاسَ الظُّلْمِ وَالْجَوْرِ عَلَيْكُمْ اَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ، وَلَعَنَ اللهُ اُمَّةً دَفَعَتْكُمْ عَنْ مَقَامِكُمْ وَاَزَالَتْكُمْ عَنْ مَرَاتِبِكُمُ الَّتي رَتَّبَكُمُ اللهُ فِيهَا، وَلَعَنَ اللهُ اُمَّةً قَتَلَتْكُمْ وَلَعَنَ اللهُ الْمُمَهِّدِينَ لَهُمْ بِالَّتمْكِينِ مِنْ قِتَالِكُمْ، بَرِئْتُ اِلَى اللهِ وَاِلَيْكُمْ مِنْهُمْ وَمِنْ اَشْيَاعِهِمْ وَاَتْبَاعِهِمْ وَاَوْلِيَائِهِم

Yâ Abâ ‘Abdillâh laqad ‘azhumatir raziyyah wa jallat wa ‘azhumatil mushîbatu bika, wa ‘alâ jamî’i ahlil islâm, wa jallat wa ‘azhumat mushîbatuka fis samâwâti wa ‘alâ jamî’i ahlis samâwâti, fala’anallâhu ummatan assasat asâsazh zhulmi wal-jawr ‘alaukum Ahlal bayt. Wa la’anallâhu ummatan dafa’atkum ‘an maqâmikum wa azâlat ‘an marâtibikum allatî rattaballâhu fîhâ. Wa la’anallâhu ummatan qatalatkum, wa la’anallâhul mumahhidîna lahum bittamkîni min qitâlikum. Bari’tu ilallâhi wa ilaykum minhum, wa min asy-yâ’ihim wa atbâ’ihim wa awliyâihim.

O Aba Abdillah, how great is the affliction that befell you, for us and for all the Muslims. How great is the affliction that befell you, for the heavens and all who dwell in them. May Allah curse the people who wronged you and did you harm, O pure family of the Prophet. May Allah curse the people who barred you from the station Allah appointed for you. May Allah curse the people who killed you. May Allah curse the people who let them make war on you.
I declare to Allah and to you that I disown them, and all their followers, and all their supporters.

يَا اَبا عَبْدِاللهِ اِنِّي سِلْمٌ لِمَنْ سَالَمَكُمْ وَحَرْبٌ لِمَنْ حارَبَكُمْ اِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ، وَلَعَنَ اللهُ آلَ زِيَاد وَآلَ مَرْوَانَ، وَلَعَنَ اللهُ بَني اُمَيَّةَ قَاطِبَةً، وَلَعَنَ اللهُ ابْنَ مَرْجَانَةَ، وَلَعَنَ اللهُ عُمَرَ بْنَ سَعْدٍ، وَلَعَنَ اللهُ شِمْراً، وَلَعَنَ اللهُ اُمَّةً اَسْرَجَتْ وَاَلْجَمَتْ وَتَنَقَّبَتْ لِقِتَالِكَ‪.‬

Yâ Abâ ‘Abdillâh innî silmun liman sâlamakum, wa harbun liman hârabakum ilâ yawmil qiyâmah. Wa la’anallâhu âla Ziyâdin wa âla Marwân. Wa la’anallâhu Banî Umayyata qâtibah. Wa la’anallâhubna Marjânah. Wa la’anallâhu ‘Umarabna Sa’din. Wa la’anallâhu Syimran. Wa la’anallâhu ummatan asrajat wa aljamat wa tanaqqabat liqitâlika.

O Aba Abdillah, truly I declare peace with whoever is at peace with you, and I declare war on whoever makes war on you, until the Day of Resurrection. May Allah curse the family of Ziyad and the family of Marwan. May Allah curse the Bani Umayyah, who were cruel to you. May Allah curse the son of Marjanah. May Allah curse Umar bin Sa’d. May Allah curse Syimran. May Allah curse the people who banded together to make war on you.

بِاَبي اَنْتَ وَاُمِّي لَقَدْ عَظُمَ مُصَابي بِكَ فَاَسْأَلُ اللهَ الَّذِي اََكْرَمَ مَقَامَكَ وَاَكْرَمَنِي اَنْ يَرْزُقَنِي طَلَبَ ثَارِكَ مَعَ اِمَام مَنْصُور مِنْ اَهْلِ بَيْتِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ، اَللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْني عِنْدَكَ وَجيهاً بِالْحُسَيْنِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالاْخِرَةِ‪.‬

Bi abî anta wa ummî laqad ‘azhuma mushâbî bika. Fa-as-alullâhal ladzî akrama maqâmaka wa akramanî ay yarzuqanî thalaba tsârika ma’a imâmin manshûrin min ahli bayti Muhammadin shallallâhu ‘alayhi wa âlihi. Allâhummaj’alnî ‘indaka wajîhan bil-Husayn ‘alayhis salâm fid-dun-ya wal-âkhirah.

By my father and my mother, how great for me is the affliction that has befallen you. I ask of Allah, who honoured your station and honoured me through you. May Allah grant me the chance to defend you alongside Imam Shahibuz zaman of the Family of Muhammad saw. O Allah, make me one honoured in Your sight together with al-Husein (a.s) in this world and in the hereafter.

يَا اَبا عَبْدِاللهِ اِنّي اَتَقَرَّبُ اِلَى اللهِ وَ اِلَى رَسُولِهِ وَاِلَى اَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَاِلَى فَاطِمَةَ وَاِلَى الْحَسَنِ وَاِلَيْكَ بِمُوَالاَتِكَ وَبِالْبَراءَةِ مِمَّنْ اَسَسَّ اَسَاسَ ذَلِكَ وَبَنى عَلَيْهِ بُنْيَانَهُ وَجَرَى فِي ظُلْمِهِ وَجَوْرِهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَعلى اَشْيَاعِكُمْ، بَرِئْتُ اِلَى اللهِ وَاِلَيْكُمْ مِنْهُمْ وَاَتَقَرَّبُ اِلَى اللهِ ثُمَّ اِلَيْكُمْ بِمُوَالاتِكُمْ وَمُوَالاَةِ وَلِيِّكُمْ وَبِالْبَرَاءَةِ مِنْ اَعْدَائِكُمْ وَالنَّاصِبينَ لَكُمُ الْحَرْبَ وَبِالْبَراءَةِ مِنْ اَشْيَاعِهِمْ وَاَتْباعِهِمْ‪.‬

Yâ Abâ ‘Abdillâh innî ataqarrabu ilallâhi wa ilâ Rasûlihi wa ilâ Amîril mu’minîna wa ilâ Fâthimah, wa ilal Hasani wa ilayka bimuwâlâtika wa bil-barâati mimman assasa asâsa dzâlika. Wa banâ ‘alayhi bun-yânahu wa jarâ fî zhulmihi wa jawrih ‘alaykum wa ‘alâ asyyâ’ikum. Bari’tu ilallâhi wa ilaykum minhum wa ataqarrabu ilallâhi, tsumma ilaykum bi-muwâlâtikum wa muwâlâti waliyyikum. Wa bil-barâati min a’dâikum wan-nâshibîna lakumul harbu, wa bilbarâati min asyyâ’ihim wa atbâ’ihim.

O Aba Abdillah, I draw near to Allah, to His Messenger, to Amirul Mukminin, to Fatimah, to al-Hasan, and to you through your wilayah. I disown the one who wronged you and wronged your followers. I declare to Allah and to you that I disown them. I draw near to Allah and to you through love for you and for the one you love. I disown your enemies, all who set themselves against you and make war on you, and all the followers and supporters of your enemies.

اِنِّي سِلْمٌ لِمَنْ سالَمَكُمْ وَحَرْبٌ لِمَنْ حَارَبَكُمْ وَوَلِىٌّ لِمَنْ وَالاَكُمْ وَعَدُوٌّ لِمَنْ عَادَاكُمْ

Innî silmun liman sâlamakum, wa harbun liman hârabakum, wa waliyyun liman wâlâkum, wa ‘aduwwun liman ‘âdâkum.

Truly I declare peace with whoever is at peace with you, and declare war on whoever makes war on you; helping whoever helps you, and opposing whoever opposes you.

فَاَسْأَلُ اللهَ الَّذي أكْرَمَني بِمَعْرِفَتِكُمْ وَمَعْرِفَةِ اَوْلِيَائِكُمْ وَرَزَقَنِى الْبَراءَةَ مِنْ اَعْدائِكُمْ اَنْ يَجْعَلَني مَعَكُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالاْخِرَةِ وَاَنْ يُثَبِّتَ لي عِنْدَكُمْ قَدَمَ صِدْق فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالاْخِرَةِ وَاَسْأَلُهُ اَنْ يُبَلِّغَنِى الْمَقامَ الَْمحْمُودَ لَكُمْ عِنْدَ اللهِ وَاَنْ يَرْزُقَني طَلَبَ ثاري مَعَ اِمام هُدىً ظاهِر ناطِق بِالْحَقِّ مِنْكُمْ وَاَسْألُ اللهَ بِحَقِّكُمْ وَبِالشَّأنِ الَّذي لَكُمْ عِنْدَهُ اَنْ يُعْطِيَني بِمُصابي بِكُمْ اَفْضَلَ ما يُعْطي مُصاباً بِمُصيبَتِهِ مُصيبَةً ما اَعْظَمَها وَاَعْظَمَ رَزِيَّتَها فِي الاِْسْلامِ وَفِي جَمِيعِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَاْلاَرْضِ‪.‬

Fa-as-alullâhal ladzî akramanî bima’rifatikum wa ma’rifati awliyâikum, wa razaqanil barâata min a’dâikum ay yaj’alanî ma’akum fid-dun-yâ wal-âkhirah. Wa ay yutsabbitalî ‘indakum qadama shidqin fid-dun-yâ wal-âkhirah. Wa as-aluhu ay yuballighanil maqâmal mahmûda lakum ‘indallâhi, wa ay yarzuqanî thalaba tsârî ma’a imâmin hudâ zhâhirin nâthiqin bil-haqqi minkum. Wa as-alullâha bihaqqikum wa bits-tsa’nil ladzî lakum ‘indahu ay yu’thiyanî bimushâbî bikum afdhala mâ yu’thî mushâban bimushîbatihi mushîbatan mâ a’zhamahâ wa a’zhama raziyyatahâ fil islâmi wa fî jamî’is samâwâti wal-ardhi.

I ask of Allah, who honoured me with knowing you and knowing those who love you. I ask of Allah, who granted me disavowal of your enemies. May Allah make me one who is always with you in this world and in the hereafter. May Allah keep me firm on the way of truth in this world and in the hereafter. I ask that Allah bring me to the praised station in His sight, and grant me the honour of defending you alongside Imam Shahibuz zaman of your descendants, the Imam who is ever in the truth. By your right and your standing in His sight, and by the feeling of the affliction that befell you and the greatest trial that ever came to pass on earth and in the heavens and in all the history of Islam, I ask Allah to grant me the most magnificent of favours.

اَللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي فِي مَقامِي هَذَا مِمَّنْ تَنَالُهُ مِنْكَ صَلَوَاتٌ وَرَحْمَةٌ وَمَغْفِرَةٌ

Allâhummaj’anî fî maqâ hâdâ mimman tanâluhu minka shalawâtun wa rahmatun wa maghfirah.

O Allah, through this ziyarah make me one who receives well-being, mercy and forgiveness from You.

اَللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ مَحْيَاىَ مَحْيَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَمَمَاتِي مَمَاتَ مُحَمَّد وَآلِ مُحَمَّد‪.‬

Allâhummaj’al mahyâya mahyâ Muhammadin wa âli Muhammad, wa mamâtî mamâta Muhammadin wa âli Muhammad.

O Allah, make my life like the life of Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, and my death like the death of Muhammad and the family of Muhammad.

اَللَّهُمَّ اِنَّ هَذَا يَوْمٌ تَبَرَّكَتْ بِهِ بَنُو اُمَيَّةَ وَابْنُ آكِلَةِ الاَْكبادِ اللَّعينُ ابْنُ اللَّعينِ عَلى لِسانِكَ وَلِسانِ نَبِيِّكَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ فِي كُلِّ مَوْطِن وَمَوْقِف وَقَفَ فيهِ نَبِيُّكَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ، اَللَّهُمَّ الْعَنْ اَبا سُفْيَانَ وَمُعاوِيَةَ وَيَزيدَ ابْنَ مُعاوِيَةَ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنْكَ اللَّعْنَةُ اَبَدَ الاْبِدينَ‪.‬

Allâhumma inna hâdzâ yawmun tabarrakat bihi banû Ummayata wabnu âkilatil akbâdil la’în ibnul la’în ‘alâ lisânika wa lisâni nabiyyika shallallâhu ‘alayhi wa âlihi fi kulli mawthinin wa mawqifin waqafa fîhi nabiyyika shallallâhu ‘alayhi wa âlihi. Allâhummal’an Abâ Sufyân wa Mu’âwiyah wa Yazîdabna Mu’âwiyyah ‘alayhim minkal la’natu abadal abidîn.

O Allah, this day is a day the Bani Umayyah held to be full of blessing — the son of the liver-eater, the accursed son of the accursed. They held this day to be full of blessing by falsifying Your word and the word of Your Prophet saw. O Allah, curse Abu Sufyan and Mu’awiyah with an everlasting curse from You.

وَهذا يَوْمٌ فَرِحَتْ بِهِ آلُ زِيَاد وَآلُ مَرْوَانَ بِقَتْلِهِمُ الْحُسَيْنَ صَلَوَاتُ اللهِ عَلَيْهِ، اَللَّهُمَّ فَضاعِفْ عَلَيْهِمُ اللَّعْنَ مِنْكَ وَالْعَذابَ الاَْليمَ‪.‬

Wa hâdzâ yawmun farihat bihi âlu Ziyâdin wa âlu Marwân biqatlihimul Husayn shalâwâtullâhi ‘alayhi. Allâhumma fadhâ’if ‘alahimul la’na minka wal-‘adzâbal alîm.

This day is the day the family of Ziyad and the family of Marwan made merry, because they had succeeded in killing al-Husein (as). O Allah, multiply upon them Your curse and a painful punishment.

اَللَّهُمَّ اِنّي اَتَقَرَّبُ اِلَيْكَ فِي هذَا الْيَوْمِ وَفِي مَوْقِفي هذا وَاَيّامِ حَيَاتي بِالْبَراءَةِ مِنْهُمْ وَاللَّعْنَةِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَبِالْمُوَالاةِ لِنَبِيِّكَ وَآلِ نَبِيِّكَ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَيْهِمُ اَلسَّلامُ‪.‬

Allâhumma innî ataqarrabu ilayka fî hâdzâl yawm wa fî mawqifî hâdzâ wa ayyâmi hayâtî bilbarâati minhum, wal-la’nati ‘alayhim wa bil-muwâlâti linabiyyika wa âli nabiyyika ‘alayhi wa ‘alayhimus salâm

O Allah, I draw near to You on this day and on all the days of my life, by disowning them and cursing them, and by loving Your Prophet and the family of Your Prophet saw.

اَللَّهُمَّ الْعَنْ اَوَّلَ ظالِم ظَلَمَ حَقَّ مُحَمَّد وَآلِ مُحَمَّد وَآخِرَ تابِع لَهُ عَلى ذلِكَ، اَللَّهُمَّ الْعَنِ الْعِصابَةَ الَّتي جاهَدَتِ الْحُسَيْنَ (عليه السلام) وَشايَعَتْ وَبايَعَتْ وَتابَعَتْ عَلى قَتْلِهِ، اَللَّهُمَّ الْعَنْهُمْ جَميعاً‪.‬

Allâhummal’an awwala zhâlimin zhalama haqqa Muhammadin wa âli Muhammad, wa âkhira tâbi’in lahû ‘alâ dzâlik. Allâhummal’anil ‘ishâbatal latî jâhadatil Husayn (‘alayhis salâm) wa syâya’at wa bâya’at wa tâba’at ‘alâ qatlih. Allâhummal’anhum jamî’â.

O Allah, curse the first who wronged the right of Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, and curse too whoever followed him in it. O Allah, curse those who made war on al-Husein and his followers, and those who pledged allegiance to Yazid to kill al-Husein (as). O Allah, curse them all.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا اَبا عَبْدِاللهِ وَعَلَى الاَْرْوَاحِ الَّتي حَلَّتْ بِفِنائِكَ عَلَيْكَ مِنّي سَلامُ اللهِ اَبَداً ما بَقيتُ وَبَقِيَ اللَّيْلُ وَالنَّهارُ وَلا جَعَلَهُ اللهُ آخِرَ الْعَهْدِ مِنّي لِزِيَارَتِكُمْ‪.‬

Assalâmu ‘alayka yâ Abâ ‘Abdillâh wa ‘alal arwâhil latî hallat bifinâika ‘alayka minnî salâmullâhi Abadan mâ baqîtu wa baqiyal laylu wan-nahâr, wa lâ ja’alahullâhu âkhiral a’hdi minnî liziyâtikum.

Peace be upon you, O Aba Abdillah, and upon all the souls that gathered in the court of your dwelling. I raise this prayer all my life, day and night, that Allah may ever pour out His peace upon you. May Allah not make this ziyarah of mine my last ziyarah to you.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَى الْحُسَيْنِ وَعَلى عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ وَعَلى اَوْلادِ الْحُسَيْنِ وَعَلى اَصْحابِ الْحُسَيْنِ‪.‬

Assalâmu ‘alal Husayn wa ‘alâ Aliyyibnil Husayn wa ‘alâ awlâdil Husayn wa ‘alâ ashhâbil Husayn.

Peace be upon al-Husein, peace be upon Ali bin al-Husein, peace be upon all the sons of al-Husein, peace be upon all the companions of al-Husein.

اَللَّهُمَّ خُصَّ اَنْتَ اَوَّلَ ظالِم بِاللَّعْنِ مِنّي وَابْدَأْ بِهِ اَوَّلاً ثُمَّ (الْعَنِ) الثّانيَ وَالثّالِثَ وَالرّابِعَ اَللَّهُمَّ الْعَنْ يَزيدَ خامِساً وَالْعَنْ عُبَيْدَ اللهِ بْنَ زِيَاد وَابْنَ مَرْجانَةَ وَعُمَرَ بْنَ سَعْد وَشِمْراً وَآلَ اَبي سُفْيَانَ وَآلَ زِيَاد وَآلَ مَرْوَانَ اِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ‪.‬

Allâhumma khushsh Anta awwala zhâlimin billa’ni minnî, wabda’ bihi awwalan tsummal’anits tsânî wats-tsâlitsa war-râbi’a. Allâhummal’an Yazîda khâmisan, wal’an ‘Ubaydallâhibna Ziyâdin wabna Marjânah wa ‘Umarabna Sa’din wa Syimran wa âla Abi Sufyân wa âla Marwân ilâ yawmil qiyâmah.

O Allah, single out for my curse the first wrongdoer. Begin that curse with the first, then the second, then the third, then the fourth. O Allah, curse Yazid as the fifth. Curse too Ubaidillah bin Ziyad, the son of Marjanah, Umar bin Sa’d, Syimran, the family of Abu Sofyan, the family of Ziyad, and the family of Marwan, until the Day of Resurrection.

Then prostrate, reciting:

اَللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ حَمْدَ الشّاكِرينَ لَكَ عَلى مُصابِهِمْ اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ عَلى عَظيمِ رَزِيَّتي اَللَّهُمَّ ارْزُقْني شَفاعَةَ الْحُسَيْنِ يَوْمَ الْوُرُودِ وَثَبِّتْ لي قَدَمَ صِدْق عِنْدَكَ مَعَ الْحُسَيْنِ وَاَصْحابِ الْحُسَيْنِ اَلَّذينَ بَذَلُوا مُهَجَهُمْ دُونَ الْحُسَيْنِ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ‪.‬

Allâhumma lakal hamdu hamdasy syâkirîna laka ‘alâ mushâbihim. Alhamdu lillâhi ‘alâ azhîmi raziyyatî. Allâhummarzuqnî syafâ’atal Husayn yawmal wurûd, wa tsabbitlî qadama shidqin ‘indaka ma’al Husayn wa ashhâbil Husayn allâdzî badzalû muhajuhum dûnal Husayn ‘alayhis salâm.

All praise be to Allah, the praise of those who are grateful to You when affliction befalls them. All praise be to Allah, who has given me a great trial. O Allah, grant me the intercession of al-Husein on the Day of Resurrection. Make my footing firm upon truth in Your sight, together with al-Husein and the companions of al-Husein, who gave their utmost in defending al-Husein (as).
